Murray Turns Up Heat On Djokovic For No. 1

Andy Murray took a significant step in his quest to overthrow Novak Djokovic as year-end World No. 1, after reaching his 20th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 final at the Shanghai Rolex Masters. Murray downed Gilles Simon 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the championship, striking 22 winners. Victory in Sunday's final would move him to within striking distance of the top spot in the Emirates ATP Race To London after Djokovic suffered a semi-final defeat to Roberto Bautista Agut earlier on Saturday. Isner/Sock Beat Bryan Brothers To Reach Shanghai Final

Americans John Isner and Jack Sock won their first match ever together earlier this week at the Shanghai Rolex Masters. On Sunday, they'll try win their first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 team title. The Americans beat second seeds and compatriots Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan 6-2, 7-6(2) in 59 minutes on Saturday in Shanghai. Isner and Sock were nearly untouchable on serve. They struck 15 aces, saved both break points faced and won 83 per cent of their service points (44/53). In Sunday's final, they'll face Henri Kontinen and John Peers, who beat Croatians Marin Cilic and Mate Pavic 6-3, 6-4.
