Kiss Augusta Goodbye; Sock Ditches Golf For London

Jack Sock won’t be swinging golf clubs next week. Instead, after a tremendous run to the Rolex Paris Masters title, which sent the American soaring up the Emirates ATP Race To London standings and into the final qualifying spot for the Nitto ATP Finals, Sock will be swinging his racquet at The O2 in London from 12-19 November. The 25-year-old was supposed to accompany friend and Paris semi-finalist John Isner to Augusta National Golf Club, a famous golf course that is the home of The Masters, near Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. But with Sock’s London qualification, he will no longer be able to make the trip — the tennis racquets will stay out while the golf clubs remain in their bag....

Sock Completes 2017 Nitto ATP Finals Field

• Draw to be made on Wednesday • Groups named after 1990s legends The eight-player singles field for the 2017 Nitto ATP Finals is set. Jack Sock clinched the final spot at the prestigious season-ending tournament, to be held from 12-19 November at The O2 in London, following a dramatic run to the Rolex Paris Masters title on Sunday. The 25-year-old Sock, who will make his singles debut at the elite eight-player event, started the final week of the regular 2017 ATP World Tour season at No. 24 in the Emirates ATP Race To London and qualified with his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown.
