Milan Review: A Look Back At The Innovations And Rule Changes

As soon as 2019, tennis fans could see some of the innovations that were the hallmark of the Next Gen ATP Finals on the regular ATP World Tour, says Chris Kermode, the ATP Executive Chairman and President. The 25-second shot clock, reduced warm up and one medical time out have been earmarked as possible changes for as soon as 2019. “Those three things, I think we could do for 2019. Salatino Wins Ron Bookman Media Excellence Award

Argentina’s Guillermo Salatino was named the first Latin American journalist to win the Ron Bookman Media Excellence Award in the 2017 ATP World Tour Awards presented by Moët & Chandon. “I’m very happy because I never thought the ATP would give me the Ron Bookman Award, because it’s very important,” Salatino said. "The list, too many friends and too many good journalists. I can’t believe it.” [ALSO LIKE] Salatino has covered tennis for multiple media platforms in Argentina since 1976 and currently works for Fox Sports Argentina. He has been to more than 130 Grand Slams and 25 Nitto ATP Finals, and was a founding member of the International Tennis Writers Association in 2000.
