Zverev Leads #NextGenATP Brigade Into Second Round

Tenth seed Alexander Zverev opened his Wimbledon campaign on Tuesday with a high-quality win against Evgeny Donskoy, not dropping serve to advance with a 6-4, 7-6(3), 6-3 victory. Three other #NextGenATP players joined him in the second round by scoring their first main draw wins at the All England Club, including Russian Andrey Rublev and Americans Frances Tiafoe and Jared Donaldson. A single break of serve in the first and third sets is all Zverev needed to prevail in one hour and 50 minutes. Federer, Zverev To Battle For Halle Title

In what should be a thrilling battle pitting experience against youth, top seed Roger Federer takes on fourth seed Alexander Zverev on Sunday in Halle for the Gerry Weber Open title. The pair have taken markedly different roads to the championship match. After a surprise opening-round loss last week in Stuttgart, Federer has moved into the Halle final without losing a set. Zverev Brothers Into Halle Doubles Final

Brothers Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev are one match away from their second ATP World Tour doubles title of the year, scoring an impressive 6-3, 6-3 win on Saturday against second seeds Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram at the Gerry Weber Open in Halle.  The German duo delighted the home crowd by saving all six break points they faced en route to securing victory in 56 minutes. They’ve only dropped 14 games on their way to the final. Zverev/Zverev won their first title as a team this February in Montpellier (d. Martin/Nestor).
