By titles won, Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares are having their best season yet as a team. The pairing has already won three ATP World Tour crowns this year, matching their total from all of last season, which saw them qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals during their debut campaign. They've won one title on hard courts – the Abierto Mexicano Telcel in Acapulco – and two on grass – the MercedesCup in Stuttgart and the Aegon Championships at The Queen's Club in London. Murray/Soares Save 7 M.P. In Washington Thriller

Third seeds Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares scored a monumental comeback win on Friday at the Citi Open, saving seven match points to advance into the semi-finals over qualifiers James Cerretani and #NextGenATP Aussie Marc Polmans 2-6, 6-3, 19-17. Murray/Soares saved match points at 8/9, 9/10, 10/11, 11/12, 12/13, 14/15 and 16/17. The British-Brazilian pair ultimately made good on their third match point to prevail in one hour and 37 minutes. Next up for them are top seeds Henri Kontinen and John Peers, who also fought back from the brink by saving two match points to topple Ivan Dodig and Mate Pavic 7-5, 4-6, 14-12. Murray/Soares Start Grass Season Perfectly

Second seeds Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares completed a perfect beginning to their grass-court seasons on Sunday, beating fourth seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic 6-7(4), 7-5, 10-5 to win the MercedesCup doubles title in Stuttgart. Murray/Soares dropped only four points on their first serve (44/48) and saved both break points. Neither team broke in the first set but Marach/Pavic won the final three points of the tie-break to claim the opener. In the second set, Murray/Soares broke at 5-5 then served out the set to even the final.
