Krajinovic, Dzumhur Come Through In Moscow

Players from the Balkans ruled Tuesday at the VTB Kremlin Cup in Moscow. Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued the best stretch of his career with a 6-3, 0-6, 6-2 win against Italian Thomas Fabbiano. The Sarajevo native went 18-3 from 31 July to 29 September, a stretch that included a number of milestones for the 25-year-old right-hander. Dzumhur reached his first ATP World Tour final at the Winston-Salem Open. He won his maiden title at the St. Petersburg Open. And in late September, he gained his second Top 10 win of the season, knocking off then-World No. 4 Alexander Zverev in the Shenzhen Open quarter-finals. Krajinovic Returns To Top 100 With Fifth Title Of 2017

One word can sum up the reason why everything appears to be clicking for Filip Krajinovic... Belief. Krajinovic will step back into familiar territory as he re-enters the Top 100 of the Emirates ATP Rankings for the first time since May 2016, after clinching the title at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Saturday. The 25 year old is projected to leap past his previous career-high of No. 86 to No. 79. “I believed that to break back into the Top 100 was possible, but I was not sure if I was going to be able to do that," Krajinovic said. Krajinovic Enjoys More German Success In Marburg

Marburg Open (Marburg, Germany): Two months after prevailing at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Heilbronn, Germany, Filip Krajinovic earned his second title of the year on German soil in Marburg. The Serbian downed home favourite Cedrik-Marcel Stebe 6-2, 6-3 in the final. The 25 year old started the year at No. 235 in the Emirates ATP Rankings, but is projected to jump to around No. 150 when the newest standings are released. Krajinovic looks to eventually surpass his career-high ranking of No. 86 in April 2015. Despite the loss, Stebe has enjoyed a banner few months. Ranked No. 314 in May, he came through qualifying to reach the quarter-finals at the ATP World Tour event in Geneva, then prevailed...
