Continuing our Season In Review Series, ATPWorldTour.com revisits the biggest Grand Slam comebacks of 2017: 5. Andreas Seppi d. Nick Kyrgios 1-6, 6-7(1), 6-4, 6-2, 10-8 - Australian Open 2R There seems to be a special connection between Andreas Seppi and the Australian Open. Three years ago, the Italian saved a match point to upset Lleyton Hewitt in a five-set thriller at the Australian Open. Then, in 2015, he would advance to the Round of 16 with a stunning four-set dismissal of Roger Federer - his first Top 10 win at a Grand Slam. As Seppi began to battle back from a two-set deficit against home hope Nick Kyrgios in this year's second round, another moment of magic was in...
Some players start their off-season on a quiet court with their coaches and trainers. Other players prefer a crowd. Juan Martin del Potro started his preseason activities on Saturday under a sunny sky and in front of more than 1,000 fans in Posta Natural in Tandil, Argentina. Delpo invited his fans via Twitter, asking them to come watch his practice and donate non-perishable food for the Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Tandil. Somewhat less appreciated is his compelling FedEx ATP Head2Head series with Juan Martin Del Potro. The Argentine is one of a handful of players who, when at his best, has the firepower to overcome Federer's genius and it's must-see TV when Del Potro uncorks his forehand and plays go-for-broke tennis against the man many argue is the greatest player of all time. Despite a lopsided 18-6 record in...

He has compiled an impressive 20-4 record since the start of the US Open and he has gradually improved after each tournament. Del Potro is playing in his fifth consecutive tournament in as many weeks. He brings a 6-2 head-to-head record against Friday’s quarter-final opponent, No. 9 seed and last year’s finalist John Isner. With a win, Del Potro will overtake Pablo Carreno Busta for the final spot in the Emirates ATP Race to London. If...
