My Masters 1000: Treat Huey & Max Mirnyi

Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi have extra motivation this week at the BNP Paribas Open. Since making his ATP World Tour Masters 1000 debut in 1997 at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, the 39-year-old Mirnyi has won 16 doubles titles at this level. Of the current Golden 9, Indian Wells remains the only title missing from his collection. Bryan Brothers Reach London Final Four

Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan have booked a semi-finals spot at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals following a 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi on Thursday. Four-time season-finale champions Bryan/Bryan held a 2-0 record in their FedEx ATP Head2Head series against Huey/Mirnyi and got off to the perfect start at The O2 arena. Mike Bryan deflected a piercing backhand return winner to launch a...

In the first set at 2-1 ATP World Tour veteran Mirnyi, a two-time champion at the season finale, was the first to succumb on serve as Dodig/Melo sent across some rocket returns. Croatian Dodig served for the opener at 5-4 but on a deuce ‘deciding point’ Huey whipped a forehand passing shot onto the tramline to draw level. However Dodig/Melo, playing in...
