Kyrgios Sets Nadal Final At China Open

Nick Kyrgios is finding his top form at the right time, surging past Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-5 to reach the China Open final on Saturday. Looking to claw into contention for the Nitto ATP Finals, Kyrgios gave a significant boost to his chances with his second ATP World Tour final of the season. The Aussie, winner of nine of his past 11 matches, entered Beijing on the heels of a run to the title match in Cincinnati and has dropped just one set en route to a championship clash with Rafael Nadal. Kyrgios Pledges Donations To Puerto Rico

The more aces Nick Kyrgios hits, the more help Puerto Rico, which was devastated by Hurricane Maria, will receive. The 22-year-old Aussie upped his planned giving to the U.S. territory on Wednesday, saying he would give $50 for every ace he hits through the remainder of the season. Kyrgios had said he would give $10 for every ace, joining WTA player Monica Puig, who is from Puerto Rico, in helping rebuild the island, which is home to 3.4 million people.
