The Best Investment Isner Ever Made

Forget any house or condo, any racquet or any vehicle John Isner has bought with the more than $14 million he's earned in prize money during his 12-year ATP World Tour career. The best financial decision the 6'10” American has made involves a person who travels with him every week: his chiropractor, Clint Cordial. Isner started traveling with Cordial in 2012, and he credits the Missoula, Montana, professional for helping him stay healthy and allowing Isner to play some of the best tennis of his career as he nears 33 years old. Earlier this month, Isner won his maiden ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title at the Miami Open presented by Itau and matched his career-high in the ATP Rankings...

Escobedo Chasing 'Taste Of Success' In Houston

It all happened so fast for Ernesto Escobedo, maybe too fast. At the start of 2017, the American was No. 141 in the ATP Rankings. But after he reached his maiden ATP World Tour semi-final in Houston last April, he rose to No. 73, with his eyes peering toward the Top 50. Brad Gilbert, a former Top 5 player who coached Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick, predicted Escobedo would qualify for the inaugural Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan, where eight of the world's best 21-and-under players competed last November. But Escobedo didn't reach the Top 50 or Milan. High expectations and a lack of focus caused the right-hander to finish outside the Top 100 of the 2017 year-end ATP...

Tribute: Paes Records 750th Doubles Match Win

Leander Paes continues to span the sport’s generations, entertaining with the same youthful enthusiasm and passion that he first showcased 29 seasons ago. The evergreen Indian, a feisty competitor with a familar smile never far away, has today become the sixth player in ATP World Tour history (since 1973) to record 750 doubles match wins (750-433). It is perhaps apt, that the 44-year-old hit the milestone on Davis Cup duty by recording his 43rd doubles victory for India since his debut in March 1990, to break the long-standing team match wins record of Italy's Nicola Pietrangeli. In tandem with Rohan Bopanna, the duo has kept India in its Asia/Oceania Group I tie versus China on Saturday. Only five other players...

Del Potro, Chung Among London Hopefuls After Big Q1

Does the past predict the future? In the case of the ATP Race To London, a position among the Top 10 after the first quarter of the season greatly enhances a player's chances of claiming a spot at the elite Nitto ATP Finals. Seven players among the Top 10 of the ATP Race To London, the year-to-date standings, on 4 April 2014 qualified for that year's season finale. Eight qualifiers were already in the Top 10 on 6 April 2015; there were seven on 4 April 2016 and seven Top 8 finishers, with one playing alternate, on 3 April last year. If 2018 is anything to go by, The O2 on the Greenwich peninsula in east London will welcome a mix...
