Zverev Storms Into The Top 10, Mover Of The Week

A first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title has launched #NextGenATP German Alexander Zverev into the Top 10 of the Emirates ATP Rankings. It was a landmark week for Zverev, who added to his 2017 trophies in Montpellier and Munich, in becoming the first player born in the 1990s to win an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 trophy. The 20 year old captured the Internazionali BNL d’Italia crown with victory over Novak Djokovic to earn a seven-place jump for a career-high No. 10 in the Emirates ATP Rankings. Coric Collects Masters 1000 Boost, Mover Of The Week

Dominic Thiem’s relentless work ethic and superior fitness continues to be rewarded on clay courts in 2017. The Austrian has moved back up two places to his career-high of No. 7 in the Emirates ATP Rankings following another impressive week on the Spanish clay. Earlier this month, Thiem was runner-up at the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell (l. Nadal) and replicated that form at the Mutua Madrid Open to reach his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 final, where he pushed Nadal once again. Pablo Carreno Busta commanded the field at the Millennium Estoril Open to move up three positions in the Emirates ATP Rankings to a career-high No. 18.
