Murray Withdraws From US Open

Second seed Andy Murray has withdrawn from the US Open because of a lingering hip injury. The 2012 titlist has not played since losing to Sam Querrey in the Wimbledon quarter-finals last month. The Scot is a two-time former champion in Cincinnati, the seventh ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the season.
