Monroe/Sock Dismiss Bryans For Miami Final Spot

Nicholas Monroe and Jack Sock moved into a first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 doubles final as a pairing, defeating four-time Miami Open presented by Itau champions Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan 7-6(5), 6-3 on Thursday. As a result, Henri Kontinen will become the 50th player and the first from Finland to be named No. 1 in the Emirates ATP Doubles Rankings on Monday. A high quality first set required a tie-break to separate the American pairings. Soares/Murray March On In Miami

Fourth seeds Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares sailed into the quarter-finals on Sunday at the Miami Open presented by Itau, recording a dominant 6-0, 6-3 win over Paolo Lorenzi and Joao Sousa.  Murray/Soares have dropped just 10 games in their first two matches this tournament. Soares/Murray Advance To Miami Second Round

Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares successfully kicked off their Miami Open presented by Itau campaign on Saturday. The fourth seeds saved three of the four break points they faced to beat Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi 6-4, 6-3 in 68 minutes. Murray and Soares will next face Paolo Lorenzi and Joao Sousa in the second round. Second seeds and defending champions Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut defeated Dominic Inglot and Florin Mergea 6-1, 4-6, 16-14. Klaasen And Birthday Boy Ram Win Indian Wells Doubles Title

Rajeev Ram gave himself the best possible 33rd birthday present on Saturday at the BNP Paribas Open, teaming with Raven Klaasen to defeat eighth seeds Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo 6-7(1), 6-4, 10-8 to take the doubles title in Indian Wells. The victory gives Klaasen and Ram their first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title as a team. It's the first Masters 1000 title for Ram and second for Klaasen, who previously won Shanghai in 2015 with Melo. This is Klaasen/Ram's fifth title as a team and second of 2017, having also prevailed last month in Delray Beach. Four of their five matches this fortnight went to a Match Tie-break.
