Khachanov, Blanco Set Sights On Murray Clash

For players battling to ascend the Emirates ATP Rankings and reach the pinnacle of the game, signature victories and breakthroughs are inevitable. Karen Khachanov enjoyed one of those moments on one of the biggest stages on Sunday. The #NextGenATP star booked his spot in the Round of 16 at Roland Garros with a 7-6(1), 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(3) upset of 21st-seed John Isner. The 21-year-old Russian, who is making his tournament debut, will appear in the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time. He is the youngest to reach the last 16 in Paris since Marin Cilic did so in 2009 at age 20. "I think it's the best result for me in a Grand Slam," said Khachanov....

#NextGenATP Chung, Khachanov Into Third Round

#NextGenATP stars Hyeon Chung and Karen Khachanov scored big wins on Thursday at Roland Garros to reach the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time in their young careers.  Chung broke Denis Istomin seven times in scoring a convincing 6-1, 7-5, 6-1 win. The 21-year-old Korean only lost seven points on his first serve and was extremely efficient with his volleys, winning 12 of 13 trips to the net. He fired a backhand winner to wrap up the match after one hour and 51 minutes. Chung improves his FedEx ATP Head2Head Series over Istomin 2-1, including a win this April in Barcelona. “I’m trying to focus all the time and enjoy myself on the court,” said Chung....

He doesn't send others to do his work, either – Donaldson is a hands-on learner.
