Roberto Bautista Agut and his coach Pepe Vendrell visited the Wasserngrat mountain region in the Alps on Thursday, the smallest of Gstaad’s ski region.
After hitting a few balls in the beautiful landscape, a hiking trail in the Alps, they enjoyed a lunch including the typical Swiss potato dish Rösti.
“It is beautiful up here, the landscape is amazing,” said Bautista Agut. “I love the mountains!” Vendrell added, “This is outstanding, the best activity I’ve done all year.”
Second seed Bautista Agut takes on Denis Istomin on Friday in the quarter-finals of the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad.
