A Wimbledon towel is a highly sought after prize at The Championships – for every player and fan. So when Jack Sock threw his towel to a young fan, who had leaned forward to request a Wimbledon momento on Tuesday, the spectator was delighted. Sadly, an older gentleman forcibly wrestled it from the teenager’s clutches and soon left Court No. 8. Sock was unaware of the incident, only finding out later after watching the footage. Djokovic Adds Coach Ahead Of Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic will add another former top player to his coaching team next week. The 30-year-old Serbian confirmed on Saturday that former World No. 7 Mario Ancic will join him, along with Andre Agassi, during the fortnight at Wimbledon. Djokovic said he has long known Ancic, who grew up in neighbouring Croatia, and that the two have stayed in touch since the three-time ATP World Tour titlist had to retire in 2011 because of health problems, including complications from mononucleosis. “He's one of the closest friends I've ever had on the tour,” Djokovic said. “He was always a very nice guy, very smart... Coach Rasheed To Serve On ATP Board

ATP coach and former player Roger Rasheed will serve on the ATP Board of Directors for the next three years. The ATP Player Council elected Rasheed on Friday to serve as the International Region Player Representative on the Board. Rasheed will start his three-year term on 1 January 2018. Rasheed, who is from Adelaide, Australia, reached No. 192 in the Emirates ATP Rankings as a player. As a coach, he has guided a number of ATP World Tour champions, including former World No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt, Gael Monfils, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Grigor Dimitrov.
