Rublev Qualifies For Next Gen ATP Finals
Andrey Rublev joined Alexander Zverev on Monday as the only two players who have qualified for the inaugural Next Gen ATP Finals, to be held 7-11 November in Milan. “I'm really happy and I'm really excited to play in Milan,” said Rublev. “I did hard work this year and I've had some great results. So I'm really excited to play Milan.” The 19-year-old Moscow native has enjoyed a breakout season this year on the ATP World Tour. Harrison/Venus To Make Nitto ATP Finals Debut
Roland Garros champions Ryan Harrison and Michael Venus will cap off their season at the 2017 Nitto ATP Finals, becoming the fifth team to qualify for the season-ending tournament, to be held from 12-19 November at The O2 in London. Harrison and Venus are currently No. 7 in the Emirates ATP Doubles Race To London, but claimed the spot reserved for the highest-ranked Grand Slam champion that may finish outside the top seven, but no lower than 20th. Dominic Thiem has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals, to be held 12-19 November at The O2 in London, for a second successive year as a result of Friday’s quarter-finals at the Shanghai Rolex Masters.
