Report: Veteran sports broadcaster Al Michaels to call Amazon’s NFL games on Thursdays

Al Michaels, the longtime NFL play-by-play broadcaster, is Amazon’s pick to call “Thursday Night Football” games streaming on Prime Video this season, according to the New York Post. Disney to cut ties with Netflix and launch its own streaming service, as well as a platform for ESPN

Disney is going to go its own way when it comes to streaming, announcing Tuesday that it will be ending its distribution deal with Netflix. The company plans to launch its own branded streaming service in 2019 and will also debut an ESPN service early next year.
