Amazon adds NBA League Pass to Prime video lineup as tech giant continues sports push

Amazon bolstered its growing library of live sports programming with the addition of NBA League Pass to Prime Video Channels. The NBA’s live streaming product is now available on Amazon’s video platform for Prime members who also subscribe to NBA League Pass ($28.99/month or $169 for a season) that provides access to live out-of-market regular season games for all NBA teams. ‘Thursday Night Football’ to feature co-stream by hugely popular gamer ‘Ninja’ on Amazon’s Twitch

The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will show off their brand of “multiplayer entertainment” in a “Thursday Night Football” clash tonight. And one of the most popular gamers in the world will get in on the action by co-streaming the event on Twitch, the platform owned by Amazon. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who has more than 12 million followers on Twitch, will join in the fun for the last “TNF” game of the season. NHL approves Seattle expansion franchise, set to begin play in 2021 near Amazon campus

Professional hockey is coming back to the Emerald City. Amazon debuts new self-driving racing league with tiny machine learning-powered race cars

Amazon’s investment in the sports world continued at the company’s signature cloud technology conference this week, but not in the way you’d expect. Amazon Web Services chief and big sports fan Andy Jassy on Wednesday in Las Vegas unveiled a first-of-its-kind global autonomous racing league called AWS DeepRacer.
